Terms & Conditions

At Christophers with all commissions an appointment is made in agreement
with each party concerned where discussions takes place regarding the
required item and for each party to provide thoughts & ideas to produce the
final design. Throughout the discussion Christopher will produce rough
sketches of the required design to obtain the final drawing of the product
to create. Depending on the design complexity Christopher will establish
what Gemstone/s are to be used and of what shape and size which will not
only suit the design required but to work within the clients chosen
perameters, where the final price will be calculated and agreed.
Once agreement has been accepted a time scale will be established for the
required design to be created and will alter accordingly from 4 - 16 weeks
depending on the complexity of the design and how many previous orders
Christopher currently has. Urgent Designs for Weddings, Engagements &
Birthdays for example where possible, can be created at an additional
variable charge depending on design and remainder of time available.

Once design & time scale has been agreed payment can be made in a number
of ways:

* A Deposit of 40% is made to confirm order which enables Christopher to
secure Gemstone/s and the required Metal to create your required design.
This can either be made by Card; Cash or Cheque ( Cheque Guarantee Card must
be present ). The outstanding balance can then either be paid on completion
or you can pay week by week or month by month which ever suits you until
cleared before collection.

* Interest Free Credit - Provided by Hitachi Capital
This enables you to spread the cost of your design over a period ranging
from 6 months - 3 years where as long as the item being purchased is between
£350.00 - £10,000 all that is required is a 10% deposit to confirm the
order ( 2 forms of identification are required ie: Driving Licence;
Passport; Utility Bill dated within last 3 months etc ). The outstanding
balance is then taken from your account by Direct Debit.

Please note: Christopher can not be held liable for any mis-interpretation
of the design on your behalf of the outcome of the design and full payment
must still be made, any further alterations to the design will be made at
an additional charge.

Shaped Wedding Rings
With all shaped Wedding Rings which requires flush fitting around the
clients engagement ring, Christopher will require to borrow the clients
engagement ring for a period of 2-3 weeks (this enables Christopher to
create the shaped Wedding Ring in silver for the client to approve before
work would commence on the actual Wedding Ring). Once the Design has been
approved the engagement ring is returned back to the client (during this
process Christophers Jewellery with Flair will be liable for any loss or
damage however caused to the customers Engagement Ring until it is returned
on approval of the silver design where full liability returns to the
client).

Copyright & Data Protection
As inaccordance with Copyright Laws, Christopher will not copy from any
other Companies Copyright Designers such as Gucci, Bvlgarri, Choppard &
Cartier etc and by agreeing to your commission you declare that your design
has not been taken from a catalogue or website and that all ownership rights
of the final design belongs to Christophers Jewellery with Flair.
All information entrusted to Christopher will not be passed over to any
third party at any time and will be treated in the strictest of confidence
between Christopher and his emlpoyees (Data Protection Act Registration No.
Z9987242).
